I spent Memorial weekend in Oregon celebrating my Dad’s birthday and retirement. What a bash that was! I will share how the Hungarians like to party in a different post.
For now, I’d like to share a few shots from a winery that is just down the way from my parent’s vineyard.
Methven Family Vineyards has a [...]

I thought about giving this one a name…but I just wasn’t able to find the right words to describe it. I thought about going the religious route, but I’m not really a religious person. (does that matter?)

Colorado, Utah, Arizona and Nevada we were pounded with weather from hell.
As we came into California (I love this state) this is the view that welcomed us home.

Do we spend time with friends who are so close, they are family,
or spend time with family, who at the moment, are as distant as long ago friends?
We tried to do both, and as we sat in a pub just down the street from home,
the big Stella [...]

Spain

We drove from Spain to Portugal in order
to expand our horizons. Spain was beautiful.
Portugal was beautiful. Even the abandoned farms looked amazing,
the countryside was dotted with them the entire drive to Portugal.
Some didn’t even look abandoned until I took a closer look to notice,
some houses didn’t even have a rooftop.

Budapest

On a cool evening in downtown Budapest, we waited for a friend
to finish her shift at a restaurant on the busy tourist street called Vaci Utca.
Luckily, there weren’t too many tourists.
I crossed to the other side of the walkway, and this is what I saw,
up the street and down the street.
(see images in The Art [...]
