If you decide you would like to go to on location for your family portrait, pick a location and we’ll meet
there either for a morning appointment or for an afternoon appointment. We can go to a beach or your favorite park. If you don’t have a favorite spot, I have plenty of suggestions.
On location, family sessions typically last about one to two hours. We do move
around a bit at the location, so you will have a variety of backgrounds to choose from.
If you decide to stay in the comfort of your home for your portraits, I will find the best areas in your home
to work in. If you have specific locations within your home that you would like
to work in, please let me know and I will make it happen.
In home, family sessions can last from 1 to 2 hours, and we can
take breaks if necessary.
Feel free to have your pets included in your portraits, after all, they are
members of the family too!

I am inquiring what the price would be for a family portrait of 8 people. The size is 36X48 and we need to have the picture taken either Sunday, November 23, 2008 or Wednesday November 26, 2008. It would be an outdoor setting at a beach, possible La Jolla Cove or Coronado. Please provide us with a quote as soon as possible as time really is of the essence. I am interested in getting a gift certificate for Christmas for my son and his family to have a family portrait taken. They are not very conventional and would not want “what everyone else is doing”; I think they would be open to suggestions (I like B&W photos). What is your fee for a 1-2 hr. sitting and then do you have a price list for purchasing several 5×7 photos for grandparents, etc.? I will be arriving in LA on Dec. 17. Thanks, c.lewis
