Love at El Matador Beach {Los Angeles Engagement Photographer}

We all met up on a blustery afternoon at El Matador-my absolute favorite beach-for N and M’s engagement session.

Once we got used to the wind whipping around are faces, we had a blast shooting.

What’s a little sand in your face when you have such an awesome couple?!?

And oh my goodness, LOOK AT HER DRESS!!! I want it. I wanted it then, and I told her I might just have to rip it off her

and run away with it…although I didn’t, but I wanted to.

Katy ❤️’s Manny {Los Angeles Engagement Photographer}

…oh.my.goodness….

These two are awesome!!!

Katy and Manny are getting married later this year and asked me to shoot their engagement portraits. We met up on a quiet Sunday afternoon at Tongva Park in Santa Monica for the first half of our shoot. We were a bit hesitant due to the weather, it rained that morning, but we decided to go for it, and thank goodness we did!

I love shooting at this beautiful new park, Santa Monica really did a great job with this one, great landscaping, fabulous trees and flowers, all make for a lovely shoot.

After Tongva Park, we headed over to LACMA and played in the outdoor display “Urban Lights”.

However, it was PACKED! I had no idea how busy it would be on a Sunday evening…anytime I drove by was super late and empty. Live and learn. We ended up going back the following Tuesday night so we could have the place to ourselves (which we kinda sorta did).

Love love love!

Wedding portraits at Griffith Observatory {Los Angeles Wedding Photographer}

I met Brian a couple of years ago when he called me to shoot some headshots of him for a website. We had a great time shooting in Santa Monica, and the images were great!

A few weeks ago, I got an email from Brian telling me he needed some more portraits, but this time, because he’s getting married! The portraits were to be of him and his fiancee, Claudia, at one of their favorite places in town, Griffith Observatory.

I saw Brian and Claudia immediately, looking absolutely fabulous! One of the first things Claudia told me was the whole reason she contacted Brian through the site, was because of his good lookin’ headshot. AWESOME!!!

They let me in on the surprise of the day, they had just eloped! They already got married and these were to be their first portraits as husband and wife. Woohoo!

Congratulations to the newly eloped and extremely happy couple!
