Julia was the best ever. She encompasses “under promise, over deliver”. She photographed my three children, ages 1/2, 2 1/2, and 3…very difficult. She had so many good photos, I had a difficult time choosing. She assisted in matting and framing for me, and was just a delight to work with. A year later, I am still thrilled with her work, and planning to use her again for our family Christmas card. If you want beautiful, natural shots, capturing not only the face, but the soul of your subject, you will want to use Julia Varga.

I recommend Julia Varga because, First of all I am in the military, and was deployed to Iraq. I was coming home on leave, and decided to take some family photos. I was looking online all day for the perfect place, I came across Julia’s page and emailed her, about I was interested in taking some photos. I told her this was my first time taking professional pictures, and she gave me all the information and answers all the questions I had. I was taking my leave in bakersfield, I drove all the way to santa monica to have my photos taken. When I got there she was so nice and fun. My pictures were so real and natural looking, I was so impress with the pictures.

Julia really helped me to feel comfortable when taking my picture. I was eight months pregnant and a little nervous taking such intimate pictures. She was so understanding and such a warm person I felt no embarrassment at all. She also took pictures of my family of three kids under nine years old and kept them entertained and focused which is no easy task! She really is an amazing people person which made is comfortable and a great experience. I recommend her highly! I forgot to mention, the pictures came out beautiful! I really look good in them! The pictures of my kids were also beautiful! My daughter takes terrible pictures not wanting to look at the camera and giving half fake smiles. Julia took the most beautiful pictures of her.
