Love at El Matador Beach {Los Angeles Engagement Photographer}

We all met up on a blustery afternoon at El Matador-my absolute favorite beach-for N and M’s engagement session.

Once we got used to the wind whipping around are faces, we had a blast shooting.

What’s a little sand in your face when you have such an awesome couple?!?

And oh my goodness, LOOK AT HER DRESS!!! I want it. I wanted it then, and I told her I might just have to rip it off her

and run away with it…although I didn’t, but I wanted to.

Holiday Portraits at Point Vicente Interpretive Center {Los Angeles Portrait Photography}

Since moving to the South Bay over a year and a half ago, I have visited the Point Vicente Interpretive Center many many times! Sometimes it’s just to hang out,

sometimes it’s to take a walk, fly a kite, and even do some whale watching (they even have a tally board in the height of the migrations!).

I’ve realized how absolutely stunning the views are over the bluffs, the view of Catalina Island, and that beautiful Point Vicente Lighthouse. I’m a sucker for a lighthouse, and can’t wait to

take a tour of this one!

This park is perfect for family portraits! Who wouldn’t want those views, the lighthouse, the palm trees and that warm glow of an amazing California coast sunset for their portraits?!

Holiday Portraits at The Stonehaus Winery and Westlake Village Inn {Portrait Photography}

I have been photographing Alex and her family for over 6 years now, and each year I marvel how beautiful her girls are and how amazing they’ve become!

We met up at The Stonehaus Winery on a wonderfully crisp fall morning for portraits. I had no idea how pretty it is there! They did an amazing job with the landscaping, the

placing of the tables and benches, the waterfalls, the fire pits, and the fabulous chairs with the built in wine glass holders! From the vineyard we walked down the way, stopped in the beautiful white walkway for one

of my favorite shots, and continued on past the Westlake Village Inn and stopped at the bronze gazebo. I can only imagine the weddings that go on there! Truly, this is becoming one of my favorite locations

in which to shoot! The lake, the greens and of course the vineyard, love it all.

I can’t wait to get back there in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine by the fire.

Holiday Portraits at the Beach {Los Angeles Portrait Photographer}

I met up with Michelle and her beautiful family at their home in Malibu. She wanted to some family portraits at their beach just down the street.

We drove down and parked in front of an unassuming gate, and walked down the most beautiful path through the canyon down to the water’s edge. This part

of the beach is very private and secluded, only known to locals. It was so beautiful! The wide beach and the outcropping of rocks, the huge cliffs and of course the amazing sunset

set for a very dramatic backdrop for their family portraits.

I can tell this family is a beach family, this is their backyard, and I appreciate them sharing it with me for the evening!
